Mir gusley

Workshop "Mir gusley" was created  in 2012 and in a short time became widely known in the Russian expanses. The main goal of the workshop founder Sergei Gorchakov, has always been the production of high quality gusli at affordable prices.
Instruments of "Mir gusley" stand out on the market, not only with the low prices, but also with the amazing quality of manufacturing. The body of the gusli is made of a single piece of wood by gouging. As the soundboard a wood of resonance spruce is used. Selection of materials and processing methods allow Gorchakov's gusli to sing and fill hearts of the audience and the performer with a joy.
Name of the workshop in russian means "world of gusli" and it is really true. Currently "Mir gusley" produces gusli in various shapes and sizes, from compact "children's" six-string, to the professional level instruments with twelve strings. Much attention is paid to the development and design of new models, recreating vintage designs. A good example of this work is a rethinking by the "Mir gusley" of Avdoshi gusli, is often preferred by professional musicians for their sound.
A distinctive feature of the "Mir gusley" instruments is their low price, that is fully complies with the second goal of the workshop - popularization of Russian folk instruments.
