The G260CS model is a more traditional version of the popular G260DX guitar that appeal more to musicians who are looking for a vintage sound. With an alder body, a maple neck, an Pau Ferro fingerboard, vintage machineheads and a humbucker in the bridge position, this guitar has a voluminous warm sound that takes us back to the glorious era of rock of the 60s, 70s.

Alder Body.
The alder body provides a warm and rich sound. Alder has a classic sound, and the roasted maple neck gives a modern element to the overall sound of the guitar. This is a time-tested combination of wood for excellent sound versatility.

Roasted Maple Neck.
By treating the Maple in an oxygen-free oven at a high temperature, the wood stabilizes and develops a golden-brownish look for enhanced stability as well as a more vintage type of look and a big bolder tone.

Pau Ferro Fingerboard.
The density and tonal characteristics of the Brazilian ironwood Pau Ferro lie somewhere between maple and rosewood. This wood also has the smoothness of ebony and a luxurious appearance.

Voiced Tone VTS-63 and VTH-59 Pickups.
The new Voiced Tone VTH-59 bridge humbucker and the VTS-63 single perfectly complement the deep and powerful acoustic sound of the guitar with modern clarity, transparency and vintage warmth. Carefully designed by Cort engineers, the Voiced Tone pickups are equipped with only high-quality components and transmit the natural nature of the guitar sound directly to the amplifier.

Vintage Wiring.
A special wiring allows the single to "see" 250K for gentle tops, and the bridge humbucker "sees" 500K for maximum output of both the humbucker and the single.

Treble Bleed Circuit.
Another feature on the G260CS is a capacitor on the volume pot which allows the treble frequencies to come through even when you turn down the volume pot. This means that the tone stays the same no matter how you have your volume pot set and does not get dark or muffled.

Genuine Bone Nut.
For the most natural and organic sound and sensations, there is nothing better than a threshold made of natural bone, which will allow the strings to vibrate freely at this critical point of contact and transfer their energy to the wood of the guitar.

Vintage Machineheads.
Vintage style and stable settings complement the overall classic look of this model.

Steel Bent Saddles.
For bridge saddles, steel is used for a volumetric, relief and clear sound, as well as to increase the sustain.
