The Yorktown-BV is a superbly crafted traditional hollow-body electric guitar that delivers a big, warm and full-bodied tone that its appearance implies. Featuring the old-world construction methods that contribute to its classic sound, the Yorktown-BV features a spruce top, maple back and sides and a set-in Canadian hard maple neck. Other features include a floating bridge with fine-tuning capability, an elegant harp tailpiece, block inlays on the fretboard, vintage-style tuners, and a set of the versatile ClassicRocker-II humbuckers.

ClassicRocker-II Pickups.
For a more complete and dense sound, Yorktown is equipped with two ClassicRocker-II pickups. Each humbuckers windings are very dense that makes them more productive than typical PAF pickups.

Bigsby B60 Tremolo.
For those who want to add a subtle and delicious vibrato effect to the voluminous and rich tone of a Yorktown guitar, Cort now offers a version with the respected and much-loved Bigsby B60 tremolo system.

Vintage Machine Heads.
The vintage-style tuners are equipped with a steel worm mechanism and small oval handles for a classic look providing reliable functionality and stability of tuning.

Set Neck Construction.
The Yorktown-BV is all about big and bold tone. To fully maximize the Spruce top, Maple back and sides and the hard rock Maple neck, Cort’s craftsmen have carefully set this neck into the body using a classic "dovetail" joint. This delivers enhanced sustain and tone.
