979-0-3522-1382-1 Rimsky-Korsakov N. The Golden Cockerel. Fiction in faces. Opera in three acts. Libretto by V. Belsky based on "The Tale of the Golden Cockerel" by A. S. Pushkin. Piano score, Compozitor Publishing House Saint-Petersburg

"The Golden Cockerel" is the last opera by N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov, based on the fairy tale by A. S. Pushkin, one of the composer's highest creative achievements. From the day of the premiere, which took place in 1909, after the death of the composer (at which the role of the Shemakhan Queen was performed by the great A. Nezhdanova), the opera has been included in the compulsory education programs for vocalists, composers, conductors, directors, musicologists.
Meanwhile, the piano score of the opera is a bibliographic rarity and is practically inaccessible to domestic musicians.
The publication is edited by Professor E. A. Ruchyevskaya, Doctor of Art History, one of the most authoritative researchers of Russian opera music.
The publication meets the international standards of opera piano scores, is provided with a Latin transliteration of the Russian text, which will allow foreign singers to perform the opera in the original language.
