Developed under the direction of Ludovic Lanen with the help of the talented G?rard Pr?vost, the BL21 Lanen microphone is specially designed for the recording and sound reinforcement of double basses.
Equipped with an electret cell capable of handling 140dB, it will capture all the dynamics and nuances of your playing.
Its great linearity will perfectly respect the timbre and the sonority of your instrument.
Particular attention has been paid to attaching the microphone to the instrument.

"R&D" was conducted in France by the PRODIPE team under the guidance of Ludovic Lanen with the active collaboration of talented double bassist G?rard Pr?vost.
Ludovic Lanen tells us :
" To develop the capsule, we found inspiration in the best in the category and constantly measured our work against DPA's mics.
We developed an electret capsule capable of handling up to 140dB, able to capture all the dynamism and nuance of your playing, with a very high maximum sound pressure level. Its strong linearity will perfectly preserve the timbre and sound of your instrument.
As far as fastening goes, the great variety of double bass sizes requires a format with maximum adaptability.
That’s why we designed a clamp that’s supple, clever and easy to attach: ideal isolation without damaging or scratching your instrument."
