Joseph Haydn (1732-1809) is an outstanding Austrian composer, the founder of the Viennese classical school. Most of Haydn's works are intended mainly for professional musicians. When compiling the collection, Mr. Schaum sought to include easy transcriptions of Haydn's oratorios, cantatas, songs and symphonies, which made it possible to make them accessible to music lovers and every student. The publisher gave some works their own titles, clarifying the content of the play. In addition, these figurative titles are correlated with historical and biographical information about the composer, which broadens the student's horizons. All data is based on documentary sources. The collection contains both new and author's titles of plays.
The publication is addressed to students of primary and secondary grades of children's music schools.
