ProMark JW3 mallets have a round synthetic core with copper inserts and a layer of latex wrapped with synthetic yarn. JW3 mallets provide the medium articulation and balanced sound. The birch handle has a smooth coating with a silky texture that feels close to rattan, but without too much flexibility. Designed by the world-famous and sought-after orchestral director Jim Wunderlich, these nine models of the System Blue series of sticks are designed not only for marching ensembles. While the strength of the components allows them to be used outdoors, their rich and rich sound makes them an excellent choice for indoor concerts.
