La Patrie

Among the eastern towns of Quebec, there is a small quiet village, which has been the basis of Canada's guitar production for forty years. Most of its inhabitants dedicated themselves to the art and tradition of hand crafting guitars. They are meticulous and pedantic in every detail and this allows them to create unique instruments that they can proudly name after the place they are from. This is the village of La Patrie. And these are their guitars.
The line of classical guitars La Patrie with nylon strings consists of seven models: Motif, Etude, Concert, Concert CW, Presentation, Collection and Hybrid CW. All instruments are made from the best tonewoods, making them extremely resonant and structurally integrated.
The top of the guitar is made from solid cedar, the average age of which is 800 years. Special pressure testing guarantee each top a high level of rigidity and stiffness, along with a maximum of harmonic vibration. This provides a overall tone, projection and resonance of the guitar.
The special Custom Polished finish, reminiscent of French polish of the 19th century, not only protects the wood, but also allows it to breathe freely and vibrate without interfering with the important "aging" process. That's what makes the guitar sound of La Patrie all the better, the more you play it.
Neck of the guitar carved from Honduras mahogany and equipped with double-function truss rod, which is not often seen on the classical guitar. It not only provides additional stability, but also allows to reduce the width of the neck, making it more convenient.
Each guitar is decorated with an intricate rosette and cream binding, has a rosewood bridge and a fingerboard, Tusq nut and fully compensated saddle by Graphtech.
