Marcus Miller, with his innovative style and signature sound, has created a unique musical voice that has a strong impact on contemporary musicians. Over the decades, Marcus has refined and amplified this voice, not only by developing his playing technique, but also using a variety of new instruments.
When Marcus felt it was time to tackle strings, he came to Dunlop. Development began with the Super Bright formula and culminated in the creation of strings that perfectly complement its sound - crisp and punchy with plenty of main bass. “I finally have a set of strings that fully express what I hear in my head,” says Marcus himself.
Marcus Miller Super Bright strings are less tensioned for exceptional response to every nuance of playing, while the silky feel of each string adds comfort.

When you open a new set of Dunlop strings, you will see that they are not packaged in plastic, but in special VCI (Vapor Corrosion Inhibitor) bags. Envelopes made using this technology create a protective barrier around the string and maintain the necessary moisture level, preventing it from rusting. VCI envelopes keep the strings as fresh as they were on the day they were made.
