The microphone NEUMANN U 87 Ai for studio recording is practically the most popular model of the manufacturer and is recognized as the standard of studio microphones all over the world. The microphone is the successor to the legendary NEUMANN U 87.

The microphone capsule is similar to its predecessor, but with modified electronics.
