CMV15H-EU Guitar Amplifier, tube, 15W, Cort

First introduced in the 1930s, electronic tube guitar amplifiers bloomed in the 1960s thus opening a new chapter for electric guitar music. The new tone created by the combination of electric guitars and tube amplifiers pioneered a new genre of popular music, and helped create countless masterpieces after masterpieces. To this day, many performers and amplifier experts are constantly striving to inherit the tube amplifier tone of the time, and aspire to launch new amplifiers that incorporate old vintage vibes with new features and latest technologies..
Moollon is constantly exploring the sound of historical tube amplifiers. Cooperation with Cort allowed to apply many ideas of long-term research in mass production and with the help of Cort technologies and efficient production, a full-fledged tube amplifier with a rich vintage atmosphere was finally released.
Cort presents Tube Craft, a tube combo amplifier created using Moollon ideas and Cort technologies.

Tube Craft.
In 1960, tube amplifiers with a power of 5 to 30 watts were used at home and in small clubs, and in large concert halls, high-power amplifiers from 45 to 100 watts or more were used. Nowadays, both for performances and for recording, 15W combos are increasingly used.

Full Tube 15-Watts.
For the power section, dual EL84/6BQ5 tubes were used. Famous for its splendor and delicacy, they are used to express the essence of the famous vintage British amplifiers. The preamp section uses three 12AX7 tubes to implement input gain, equalizer, effect loop, and phase inverts. The 12AX7 tubes, with its high voltage gain, are well-known for its natural yet rich overdriven tones that pretty much defines the rock guitar sound from the 1950s to today.

Moollon Speaker.
The usual speakers were far from the tone that Moollon and Cort were trying to achieve. The Tube Craft speakers developed by Moollon are designed to best express the rich harmonics and natural compression characteristic of lamps. The structure of the basket, magnet, damper, diffuser and dust cap, which form a base with a 30-watt output power based on a ceramic magnet, was standardized by British speakers in the 1960s.

Hand-Wired Circuitry.
Hand-wiring is a time-consuming process that requires expertise, which often times is avoided in mass production models due to poor productivity. However, it is an essential way to build an amplifier for higher stability in tone quality, often implemented by boutique amplifier companies. Hand-wiring ensures the stability of tube circuits that require high voltage, thereby providing the best performance in any environment.

Vintage Housing.
The chassis is made of birch plywood, the motif of three stripes is made in the style of racing cars.

Send/Return on the Back Panel.
You can connect and use various effects using the Send/Return jacks on the back of the amplifier.

3-band Equalizer.
3-band equalizer of excellent quality, offers many flexible timbre settings. Even the extreme positions of the knobs do not distort the original tone, so you can adjust the sound in more detail. This is very useful at concert venues, where fast and accurate sound tuning is required.
