The short taper and the classic oval wooden tip of the Model 5B give these drumsticks good balance, slightly shifted forward and optimize power and speed.
ActiveGrip sticks are equipped with a special coating that becomes slightly sticky when the drummer's body temperature rises and his palms become wet. The coating looks like a regular varnish and does not affect the weight and diameter of the stick in any way. Unlike most other sticks with anti-slip coatings, ActiveGrip sticks do not restrict the drummer's movements and do not impose special requirements on the playing technique.
