Delicate washing is permissible, even in a washing machine. But it is still better to give preference to the manual version of washing. For machine washing, the most gentle program for delicate products is selected. Spinning and drying in the washing machine are prohibited. Detergents should be used mild, only liquid or gel-like, with no bleaching effect. The temperature of the water during washing should not change, remaining within 30-35 degrees Celsius and should not exceed this indicator. This will maintain the elasticity of the material.
Vertical drying of a velvet cover is unacceptable. Due to the good moisture absorption, the product acquires additional weight, which during drying can deform the shape and stretch it. After water procedures, the cover is neatly laid out on a terry towel. Then folds into a tight roll. By pressing movements, moisture is removed in the towel. Such an action must be carried out several times, changing the towel to dry, while velvet gives away moisture as much as possible. Next, the cover is shaken, turned out on the front side and laid out on a fabric that can absorb moisture for final drying.
Do not iron the product! It is possible to use a steamer.
