Okazima – is a flute, invented and manufactured only by Garmoniya Zvuka. The name of the instrument is composed of the words "ocarina" and "zima" ("winter" in Russian). The sound of the flute at the same time reminds ocarina and winter blizzard.
Okazima has two playing holes, one end is closed. Overblowing and closing an open end help to extend range to two octaves.
Sound of okazima is soft “blizzard” in the first octave and windy in the second octave.
