Orion tonguepan is a steel idiophone (tongue drum), designed and manufactured by hand in St. Petersburg using the proprietary technology.
Orion has its own unique shape and geometry. Like handpans and hangs, each tongue has several harmoniously tuned overtones (3-7) in addition to the root note.
In addition, multi-stage metal processing is used, which makes the tongue resonant and responsive when playing, as well as generally makes Orion's sound clean and warm. The instrument has a rich sustain and pleasant appearance, which also distinguishes it from all other instruments of this type.

This model was originally designed for children to comfortably hold the instrument in their lap while playing.
