The instrument is made based on the gusli depicted on the 17th century icon "Rejoices in You", which is located in the Church of the Savior on the City in Yaroslavl.
The special design combines the advantages of helmet-shaped and wing-shaped gusli.
Thanks to this design and the strings threaded through the nut, the sound of this model has become brighter, deeper and richer.
Pegs removed from the edges of the body on the gusli "Spas" create a comfortable hand position when playing.
