This issue is aimed at second-year students. The material of the collection is grouped according to certain conductor's tasks. In the available brief annotations to the works, their characteristic features and main methodological tasks are noted.

The main tasks of the second course are: delimitation of the functions of the right and left hands in showing nuances, introductions of different voices, sustained sounds, etc.; mastering a wider range of tempos and dynamic shades.
The techniques of performing fermata are studied in more detail (removable fermata on the sound at the beginning, middle and end of the work; fermata on a pause, non-removable fermata). In the second half of the year, the repertoire includes relatively uncomplicated compositions in 6/8 and 6/4 time signatures, conducted in six- and two-part patterns, as well as choirs containing syncopations and accents.
Improving the conducting skills acquired in the first year, you should pay special attention to the development of smooth movements at a moderate pace with an average sonority.
