A set of medium-tension strings for 3/4 double bass with a beaker of 41 3/4 inches (1060mm), optimized for the needs of most performers.

The Helicore Orchestral strings are based on a multi-stranded steel core, which gives the set a warm sound and an excellent bow response. The design of the base of the strings makes them very convenient for playing with the left hand. The attenuation is optimized for the use of a bow, but these strings are also perfect for playing pizzicato, where a warm tone with a short sustain is needed.
