Microtonal frets have been designed for use in microtonal guitars and are a traditional fret shape without tangs.
Before installing these frets, the guitar manufacturer must weld a special tang to the underside of the fret head.
A microtonal guitar has vertical grooves (channels) in the fretboard under the strings. Microtonal frets are inserted into the channel and move up and down the channel under the strings to a position chosen by the musician.

Factory supply: 6 lengths of at least 260 mm each.
