The GL21 Lanen has been designed for guitars, ukuleles, mandolins and banjo.
Prodipe developed an electret capsule capable of handling up to 140dB, able to capture all the dynamism and nuance of your playing, with a very high maximum sound pressure level. Its strong linearity will perfectly preserve the timbre and sound of your instrument.
Instead of one adaptable clamp, two separate, different sizes have been developed. The first is for guitars with a thick deck or internally amplified near the resonator hole.
The second clip is smaller and has a curved shape - the microphone can be mounted on guitars or ukuleles, which have the soundboard springs near the resonator hole closer to the neck.
Aside from the simple mechanics (and if you've ever lost a tiny screw in a small dark scene, you know what this is about), both clamps are designed in a way that won't damage your instrument's finish.
The mini XLR-to-XLR adapter ensures connections and keeps the microphone cord firmly in place on your instrument (48v phantom power required). The microphone can also be converted to a UHF microphone by connecting it to the Prodipe UHF B210 SOLO or UHF B210 DUO systems (specially adapted for the impedance of the Lanen 21 capsule).
