Description:
979-0-66004-702-6 Vivaldi A. Concerto “Winter” (L' Inverno). From the cycle “The Seasons”. Arranged for flute and piano. Version for flute by A. Tsypkin, Compozitor Publishing House Saint-Petersburg
The famous four concertos were first published in 1725 as part of a set of twelve, Vivaldi's Op. 8, entitled Il cimento dell'armonia e dell'inventione (The Contest of Harmony and Invention) where they came first and were designated Le quattro stagioni, each being named after a season.
Since those times those beautiful concertos became virtually evergreens, absolutely 'must have' in any violinists' library.
Probably the most beautiful concerto from probably the most beautiful cycle by A. Vivaldi now fresh out of print.
