The piano cycle "Years of Wanderings" is one of the most significant creations of the great Hungarian composer and romantic music in general. Its name (literal translation from French - Years of Pilgrimage) was inspired by "Childe Harold's Pilgrimage" by J. Byron.
The first part of the cycle published in this edition was inspired by a trip to Switzerland and includes nine pieces.
