"Biriulki" by S. Maykapar occupy a special place in the piano pedagogical repertoire. This unique series of pieces, with artistic and methodological value, introduces young musicians to all 24 keys. Thus, in series I (notebooks 1 and 2) keys with three sharps are presented; in series II (notebooks 3 and 4) - movement from keys without key signs to keys with three flats; finally, in the III series (notebooks 5 and 6) plays are presented in keys containing four, five and six signs.
"Biriulki" was republished many times both in Russia and abroad. At the same time, fingering, phrasing and pedalization were often given in a distorted form. In this edition, the author's text has been restored, completely identical to the original autograph.
The collection is addressed to students of primary and secondary grades of music schools.
