Two independent effects in one pedal: overdrive and distortion, which can be turned on separately or together, and first turns on overdrive and then distortion.
The tone of the overdrive is controlled by the TONE knob, and the distortion has a three-band equalizer. Switching-on of both effects allows you to achieve the desired "structure" of the sound, which is difficult to do with one effect, and increase the duration of the guitar sound.
The AD-2 provides two outputs to the combo amplifier and to the mixer. From the second output there is a signal, allowing to work "in line" without a guitar combo. To switch both effects, a "cold" by-pass is applied, which does not introduce distortion in the pure signal mode.
The kit includes an adapter.
