978-5-7379-0948-2 Gaponenko I. Musical literature of foreign countries. 6th grade. XIX century, Compozitor Publishing House Saint-Petersburg

In 2019, at the V International Competition of Theoretical Works "Magic World of Art", the author of this publication was awarded a 2nd degree laureate diploma in the nomination "Tutorial"!
The textbook on musical literature was written for the 6th grade of children's music schools and children's art schools. The course program continues the material on the musical literature of foreign countries of the 5th grade (due to the expansion of training in the subject for 1 year).
Vivid portraits of romantic composers R. Schumann, F. Liszt, F. Mendelssohn, G. Berlioz, I. Brahms, G. Rossini, G. Verdi, R. Wagner, J. Bizet, E. Grieg are recreated against a living historical background, free from traditional Soviet clich?s, with curious (sometimes little-known) details for the curious. The names of Mendelssohn, Berlioz, Brahms included in the edition are quite rare in other similar books.
Composers are not arranged in chronological order, but by genre priority (in the beginning - mainly symphonic pianists, then - operatic ones).
