In the initial period of teaching young singers in pedagogical practice, it becomes necessary to use a simple, technically accessible classical vocal repertoire. Beginning singers and students with a limited vocal range may have a special need for such works.
Diverse in content, for female and male voices, almost all songs and romances of the collection are transposed from the original to lower keys. In the process of working on these works, the teacher has the opportunity to ensure a sufficiently high level of setting vocal-pedagogical and performing tasks.
The selection of vocal compositions by classical composers included in this publication, to a certain extent, expands the scope of the usual textbook educational repertoire and provides an opportunity for an initial acquaintance with the work of the presented domestic and foreign authors.
